Pre-meeting stakeholders’ reports
Peter Gorm Larsen
- Preparing the start of the ITEA digital twin project called UPSIM
- Agreeing with Jorchen Teizer about the approach for hiring new PhDs and post-docs for the 2 building construction digital twin H2020 projects
- Expect that the digital twin track at the Isola conference will be postponed to 2021 (currently clarifying about the corresponding papers)
- Ready to open the Co-Sim CPS workshop on the 14th of september
- Prepared video for the ESA MBSE worksop at the end of september about the HUBCAP solution
Nick Battle
- Slow progress on FMI3 dynamic API semantics, while many changes are being made to the FMI standard.
- Some improvements made to LSP Server in anticipation of resumption of VSCode client work.
- Tracked a bug raised by one of Leo’s students to the behaviour of “let” statements in VDMJ/Overture.
- Checked Hugo’s builds of 3.0.1 that relate to the -strict flag (to fix the “let” bug)
- On holiday from 14th to 19th :-)
Christian Møldrup Legaard
- Migrated INTO-CPS documentation to repo, which can be accessed on Read the docs
- Worked with Prasad on proposal for a FMU package manager, similar to Maven, Npm, or pip
Emil Madsen
- Have a working Python interface for the Universal Robots (UR) robots for executing robot motion commands and logging data - needs documentation still but is fully functional.
- Works for the real robots as well as the UR simulator (a virtual machine provided by UR which runs Polyscope, i.e. UR robot operating system + GUI)
Claudio Gomes
- Working on python interface with Emil
- Found problem with ur robot dynamics equations (didn’t find the solution yet, but Emil is looking into this).
- Incubator equations ready for calibration.
- Finished marie curie proposal.
- Will be attending the cosimcps workshop this afternoon.
Jim Woodcock
- Submitted the proposal on an International Centre-to-Centre Collaboration on Robotic Digital Twins (RoboTwin).
- Working on a DFF proposal on Security by Design for Mobile Autonomous Robots (RoboSec-DK). Deadline: 30th September 2020.
Hugo Daniel Macedo
- Visited Grundfos facilities in Bjerringbro. Some of their internal projects on “Intelligent water treatment” demonstrate the advantages of using digitalization and digital twin tech in the optimization of water operations.
- Working on the addition of a stric type-check to let def added by Nick into VDMJ into Overture.
Casper Thule
- Updating INTO-CPS Documentation with Christian
- Made additions to FMU Package Manager
- Working on Maestro2, hereamong calculating derivatives
- Working on Incubator, RabbitMQ is being set up (Hao)
- Localization might switch to Aruca Markers
